CRISTINA LOYA
A Mexican-Spanish artist and spatial designer, Cristina studied in Mexico City, Florence, Barcelona and Canada, and went on to gain a Master's degree in Art and Architecture at the Royal College of Art in London. Since then, she has developed an interest in the diversity of well-being in the historical and cultural contexts of a rapidly changing world. She believes in cultivating empathy with our environment, the way we adapt, imagine and experiment.
Her practice has led her to explore the intimacy that exists in understanding diverse cultures and environments and how they interrelate at different levels, resulting in an interest in installation, curation, research, space and exhibition design.
"Bees - a way to preserve the species and [re]contribute to the local circular economy."
