Large format bronze figure, single draw - Alain Kurylo

Sand cast, large format.

Born in 1952 in Chantilly, Alain Kurylo studied at the « École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art », which he completed in the 1970s. He is the student of the sculptor Volti and the designer Serge Mouille.

For nearly fifteen years, the human figure has occupied a prominent place in his work. Expressive silhouettes with refined lines are available: rough, raw, cracked, torn, broken, they are articulated in a wide variety of materials. Indeed, the artist gives way to materials: steel, stainless steel, wood, rusty steel, earth.

These silhouettes are made of bronze, using the sand casting technique.
